Sudoku rules

Sudoku is played on a 9x9 grid divided into 3x3 regions. The objective is to enter numbers into the squares so that every horizontal row, vertical column and region contains all the numbers 1-9, and each number only once. As you start the sudoku some numbers are already entered. These are your clues.

Our sudoku puzzles only have one solution and there is always a way to solve them that doesn't involve guessing.

Our levels

The easy level is for beginners. You start with plenty of clues and only very simple logic is required to solve the sudoku.

The medium level gives you less clues but is still solvable by simple logic.

The hard level gives you few clues and may require some deeper logic to solve. Rather than only checking the numbers for possible squares you will also need to start checking the squares for possible numbers at this level.

The expert level gives you very few clues and requires some more advanced strategies to solve.
